CHOCOLATE BUTTER ICING

Who does not like chocolate ? It is this universal appeal of chocolate butter icing that makes chocolate one of the most preferred flavours for desserts and their decoration. Here is an easy recipe for you to make your dessert look extravagant, tempting and delicious !

INGREDIENTS 

1 tsp cocoa powder

¾ tbsp drinking chocolate

¼ cup of butter

1 cup trust icing sugar

A few drops vanilla essence

METHOD

  1. Sieve the icing sugar, cocoa powder and drinking chocolate ina deep bowl and keep aside.

  2. Combine the butter in a deep bowl and mix it till light and smooth for 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Add the icing sugar-chocolate mixture gradually and mix well.

  4. Add the vanilla essence and mix well. Use immediately.

WHITE CHOCOLATE FUDGE

Chocolate fudge cake is undoubtedly everyone’s guilty pleasure, well not guilty for most. The way it dissolves in the mouth, its flavour & its texture is totally irresistible and rightfully so. You might have tried milk chocolate or dark chocolate fudge. But here is a new recipe on white chocolate fudge to give your taste buds a sweet treat!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup chopped white chocolate

¼ cup soft butter

1 cup trust icing sugar

½ cup fresh cream¼ cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)

METHOD

  1. Combine all the ingredients except the chocolate in a microwave bowl and microwave on high for 2 minutes, after stirring it for 1 minute.

  2. Add white chocolate and microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds and mix well and cool slightly

  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 150 mm, square tray and refrigerate for till it sets.

  4. Cut it into 25mm squares and serve.
